It looks like Tony Z won the Jersey, some I'm gonna assume he won the day. It looks good on you, better then the State Champion ones. Welcome to the club. I was there for the start of the race, but not for the end or awards because I had to be in three places at once. I probably should have just raced, cause that's what I did all day. Assume he won the day? How did he place fifth in the road race and still manage to snatch the Jersey for first place over all in a 2 stage race?? Im confused.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's what I was told by the organizer today, after I posted this. The Jersey was for the over all winner of the race. Not my event, not my rules or my point system. I don't how it went down. As soon as I get the Official results from Chris, I'll post them and we can go over it together, my Anonymous friend.

ReplyDeleteAs for the results, win, lose, or draw, I felt I got my 5 dollar's worth.
Like most stage races, the overall winner is based on accumulated time. Tony Z had such a strong time trial stage that the four guys who came in front of him during the road race couldn't catch up to his time accumulated time. It's pretty simple.
