That’s right, tonight at 11PM, BIKE TALK! will be making its first appearance on live radio. You can check us out at 90.7 FM, or you can listen live online here. We have a ton of information, live interviews, and interview clips, including stuff from Sky Yaeger – the designer of the Bianchi Pista – and Richard Schwinn – the great-grandson of Ignaz Schwinn, the founder of Schwinn bicycles.
I also heard that Stephen Box from the Bike Writers Collective will be on tonight talking about LA's bike master plan and the Cyclists' Bill of Rights.
From The Do-Over blog:
Friends and family traveled from far and near for our annual post bird day romp aka The Left-Over. If you’ve had the pleasure of attending any of our one-off events, you’ve come to learn that these are some of the most fun Do-Over’s to experience. Well, this year’s Left-Over definitely lived up to those expectations. With each passing season, the bar itself takes on a new life and identity of its own. Attendees were treated to the next phase of Cranes, which included a remodeled outside patio giving it a Brooklyn-esque feel. As for the party itself, it was a nonstop rug cutting affair with $mall Change making his annual pilgrimage from NYC to get down alongside fellow New Yorker JT Donaldson, KCRW’s Jeremy Sole and Rhettmatic featuring Eric Bobo on percussion who had the crowd in a dancing frenzy (Rhett even made a cameo on percussion!).
Save The Date: Friday, January 1st. The New-Over.
If you attended our first ever New Years Day party last year, you know it’s not worth missing. That was probably our craziest party all year and in the history of Do-Over. This year we will top it bigger and bigger.
