The innovation slingers from MIT Senseable City Lab have shown up at the Copenhagen Conference on Climate change, and they’ve brought an idea with them that’s actually worth talking about. The Copenhagen Wheel – named not just for the city of its unveiling but also for Copenhagen’s role in a biking renaissance over the past several years – employs regenerative braking, an electric motor and even a Bluetooth connection to your iPhone for real-time data display.

After 20 years as one of the most controversial streetwear brands, Freshjive is not only denouncing their own name and branding beginning in 2010, but is altogether abandoning many of the aspects that previously classified them as a streetwear brand. They have taken full creative advantage of the versatility of debranding and have reintroduced the line combining a mix of classic and contemporary styling, with a strong focus on garment design. The t-shirt line has taken a surrealist angle, while still expressing their particular take on culture and the world at large. We like the direction for Fall 2010, a collection featuring lots of interesting cut-and-sew pieces, overall reflecting a maturing Freshjive.

I am Jealous Right Now. Why Is there no LA Showings? We spoke with Grace from L2P and she said ther was going to be, we had a date and then... POOOF nothing. WTF? Why no Love? I looked on the site and LA isn't even listed anymore. We had a bunch of local hype ready to go, a race planned ETC. GRACE I am disappointed.. We would love to support something like this, it's hard when our city gets looked over. Anyway here is the recap and a few pictures from the iMiNUSD screenings. Looks like a great turnout!. click below.
