Fixation Fridays: Ryan Resurrection

Fixation is getting ready to make the rounds of Screenings for the cities involved in the filming. As a way to get you guys ready for it,
we will being doing rider profiles of the riders from the film. First up from SF, is my homie Ryan!
I met this dude at the Red Bull event, and we hit it off. "You like bikes, I like bikes" that kind of shit, that
makes for an instant friendship. Enjoy, and check more profiles from the film every Friday.
The regular Monday profiles will be returning this Monday as well!

What city did you film for:: San Francisco

How did you get involved in the film:: Through my friend Johnny Lee, check him out in the film!

What was your filming experience like:: It was great! Never really done anything like it so it was a bit nerve racking.

Any sketchy moments:: YES! It was at the top of twin peaks, it was the first day i threw on that particular pedal (Shimano clipless MTB pedals and sidi dom5) setup on my bike. As we started to ride down, I felt my left foot have a bit of play. i decided to keep going. Once we picked up some speed, went for a skid to control my speed then POP! My left foot disengaged from the pedal and threw me up from the saddle. Quickly threw that foot on the rear tire and shredded a part of the shoe away.

Do think this will be a good represention of our cities and how we ride them:: Yeah, go see the film!


What would you like to see change in your city as far as bike riders and riding in your city:: Nothing really. There's a few thing here and there but nothing major.

How did you handle the interview part of your filming:: Terribly!

Any answers you would change:: All of them! hahaha

Did any friends jump on with you while filming:: I introduced Marc to Alex and they got things to jump off.

If there was to be a VS street race between the cities involved, who would win:: SF of course!

Best thing for an out of town rider to do in your city while visiting:: Climb some hills
