Chrome, has teamed up with Krooked
Skateboards on a limited-edition line of Chrome’s “Citizen” bag that will feature artwork
by Krooked’s founder, legendary artist and skateboarder Mark Gonzales. The line will be
available exclusively at core skate and bike shops worldwide on July 1, 2010.

“Mark’s instantly recognizable artistic style has graced everything from skateboard decks
to works of art in boutiques and museums all over the world,” says Matt Sharkey,
Marketing Director for Chrome. “We are truly honored to have the rare opportunity to
work with such a legend and have his artwork on this line.”

The bag selected for the collaboration is Chrome’s best-selling “Citizen,” made popular
with both professional and recreational riders in urban bike environments. Special
features include: a metal seatbelt closure with one-handed adjustment & five bar seatbelt
webbing; a cross-chest stabilizer; integrated reflective webbing; asymmetrical padded
shoulder strap with accessories mounting point; a 1,050 denier nylon outer shell; and an
18 oz. weatherproof truck tarp liner. Cost $140.

As part of the Bicycle Kitchen's Final Fundraising Event we are pleased to announce that we've got this amazing bicycle to auction off.
Thanks to a donation from Eurasia and the resourceful cooks, we've put together this lime green Bare Knuckle track bike. We are starting this silent auction off online today and will end the online bidding on Saturday.

Fyxation June Chrome-O: Week 1 Winner

Ben, you must be having a hard time picking winners, Because, this is a super Rad edit. The rest must be amazing as well. Nice work to Andrew up in Minnesota. Really cool. He won a pair of the new Chrome Tobruk shoes, 2 Session 700 Dual Compound tires and some other swag from both companies. I'm sure he is stoked.

World Cup 2010

THREE DAYS!!! Do you know where your games are? Well, here is the TV schedule for our broadcast/ cable channels. All games will be on the ESPN channels or ABC. (note the times are for the east coast, so we're 3 hours behind. i.e. 2pm=11am) I, for one cannot wait til the 11th of July. World Cup 2010!!!

The Crewest is having viewing parties and an Art show, throughout the cup. Here's the deets.

Future Tense Race Series...

Wow. So dope. It is summer when you start seeing all the race series popping up. I wish I had the time to make it up for all of these. How bout I come for the last one and you spot me some extra out of town racer points, so I can be a contender? (We would do the same for you... maybe) Nice work, it's really cool to see how the Seattle Community has grown from the beginning. Congrats, keep it up!!!

I like this, a lot. I know, now, how an upcoming race is gonna start. Like this but with a twist. I love doing shoe starts, but I think this a good way to start a race, that and ulocking bikes to other bikes... Brutal.

Like most people, Timbuk2 was my first messenger bag (maybe it's a NW thing?) while i liked it, and served me well for many years, it just didn't complete me. Hahaha, What ever that means?
