Swoop!

We need both of these.

These were both on the side of Cycle path in Malmo, Sweden. Top photo is a

digital counter of all those that had ridden by it that day. I had taken this photo

at 1130-12pm. I was told by my cousins that it was pretty low numbers for that

time of day, (most of the city was on Holiday) normally the numbers would be above

that. It would be cool to have these around LA, just you can see that you're not the

only one taking that route. Someday.

This little guy was right across from the counter. Bicycle only, air compressor. 24/7,

365 for free. Amazing.

Yanco & Tracko: Summertime Caps

I saw this cap a month or so ago and have been waiting for release of the final design.

As always, the homies come through with a great cycling cap. I'm loving the shorter bill,

and that it is a three panel While you can't get this Yanco design pictured, (Yanco made it

for himself out of a Cadence bandana) be sure that the final caps will be just as good.

Kyle, Save me one!

Bike parking for days.

This was outside the Train Station in Malmo, Sweden. This was just the overflow bike parking.

The whole station was surrounded by thousands of bicycles. I thought this dock was coolest looking

bike parking lot I have ever seen. Floating bike parking. Rad.

Art in the Streets - Last Day!

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmfLvzvK-ag&w=600&h=385]

Today’s the last day for “Art in the Streets”, a graffiti art exhibit at the MOCA. Some of the greatest names from all over participated in this. International artists like Banksy, Lee Quinones, Futura, Os Gemeos, Fab 5 Freddy, Swoon, Shepard Fairey, and JR and local legends like Craig R. Stecyk III, Chaz Bojórquez, Mister Cartoon, Robbie Conal, RETNA, SABER, REVOK, and RISK are just some of the names. Graffiti’s evolved over the last few decades and we have to thank a lot of these individuals for risking their lives doing what many considered deconstructing our society.

Check this out as most would agree that this one is not to be missed.

Swedish Style Lock Job

Number one way the Swedes lock their bikes up. Kickstand or lean against anything,

then free-lock the back wheel. This was the best looking color scheme lock job I saw.

I want that ULock.
